It was May 13, 2008 when it was announced that the old High School, Uni, was going to be made into apartments. It talked about how they purchased Uni for 50 million dollars and were going to make 533 apartments on the 16 acre land. Latin teacher Ms. Alena Allen’s newest book was also featured on page one. It also talked about the skirt lenght policy and their pros and cons which was very interesting. The staff editorial supported the new ASB’s “Open Forums”, which are also covered in a page two news story.  Lastly, it talked about an NBA Prospect, Ms. Padgett’s brother!  He gave advice to the students about the future that awaits.
