Road to the Super Bowl

Road+to+the+Super+Bowl

The highly anticipated NFL playoffs are here! The regular season has officially ended as of January 7th, 2024, following an action-packed 18 weeks. With the books closed on the regular season, the postseason is officially underway with the beginning of the wild card round.

The first round of playoffs, also known as the wild card round, sees six games across the span of three days. The outcome of these upcoming matchups will decide the teams moving on to the final four in both the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC).”

The Wild Card games took place from January 13, 2024, through January 15, 2024. In the AFC, three of the six wild-card games saw the Cleveland Browns against the Houston Texans, the Miami Dolphins against the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Buffalo Bills. The other three games, which were played by NFC teams, included the Green Bay Packers against the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams against the Detroit Lions, and the Philadelphia Eagles against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After the Final Four was officiated, we moved forward into the next round of the playoffs, which is known as the Divisional Round. The Divisional Round is the second stage of the playoff and sees four games over two days.

The Divisional Round will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, and conclude on Sunday, January 21, 2024. In the AFC, The Texans will take on the Ravens and the Bills will play the Chiefs. As for the NFC, the Packers will play the 49ers and the Buccaneers will take on the Lions. The surviving teams from each conference divisional round will go on to play at the AFC Championship and the NFC Championship.

This year’s NFC and AFC championship games will take place on January 28th, 2024, and will be played at the homes of the highest seeding team from the National League and the American League. The results of these conference games will determine the two teams that advance to face off in the Super Bowl.

The 2024 Super Bowl is scheduled for Sunday, February 11th. The event will be held at Allegiant Stadium, which is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Anticipating the conclusion of this long-awaited championship game, NFL fans everywhere are sure to tune in and watch which team will ultimately secure the victory.
