Cathedral Catholic High School varsity football team quarterback D.J. Ralph ‘20 was awarded the USA Today Super 25 Star of the Week today after his performance against Corona Centennial High School last week.

The southpaw quarterback threw for 212 yards and scored five total touchdowns in the 44-41 shootout win, pushing CCHS into top 10 ranking in the nation.

Ralph received 5,568 votes during the course of the week, and he is appreciative of all the support.

“It’s great to have a community that supports your success,” Ralph said. “It’s truly a blessing to be a part of the cathedral family.”

After the Dons’ historic early start with consecutive wins over several top 10 nationally ranked teams, CCHS has entered the national scene.

“It feels amazing to be recognized with some of the top guys in the nation,” Ralph said. “More importantly I’m glad I could represent my teammates on such a high platform.”
