This Friday, May 13th, will mark the return of Cathedral Catholic’s annual Spring Carnival. Tickets will go on sale in front of the library before school, during break, and during the carnival. Tickets are set to cost 50 cents apiece, and the carnival itself will take place during lunch on the lower field.
The ASB has planned a few new additions to this spring’s carnival, as well as some retuning favorites, such as sumo wrestling and the teacher dunk tank. The ticket cost of the obstacle course will be reduced from last year’s price so that more students will have the opportunity to use it. Last year’s bungee jumper will be replaced by a bigger, better version known as the “Euro Bungee”.
All of Cathedral’s clubs will be selling food, including favorites like In ‘N Out burgers, tacos, root beer floats, and a variety of desserts.
“I enjoy seeing the clubs’ participation in the carnival. They really try to make it fun for the students,” said Ms. Elizabeth Tysor, Director of Activities at CCHS. “The Spring Carnival is a really good time for the community. Hopefully it’ll be a lot of fun!”
