The new year started off last week with several events at Cathedral Catholic High School. Seventy-five members from CCHS pro-life club Dons for Life attended the 8th annual San Diego Walk for Life, a walk created to raise awareness for the rights of the unborn. The mock trial club competed in a scrimmage against Torrey Pines High School on Wednesday night late last week, and the National English Honor Society hosted a poster writing session to help inspire the CCHS community in the new year. Finally, the CCHS varsity boys basketball team defeated ranked Christian High School 71-56 on Friday night, which added on a win to the season record.
Thomas Notarainni ‘21 guards a Christian High School player during Friday’s varsity basketball home game. The Dons won 71-56, altering their record to 15-5-0 overall and 3-0-0 in league.
