Following an early dismissal on Monday, students and their parents returned to campus for multiple Monday night activities. Parents were given the opportunity to talk with teachers, while students gathered for the first annual campus ministry night, planned by the Outreach class. Performing skits and faith talks make way for mini retreats like these for all four Campus Ministry courses. Two days later, freshman, sophomores and juniors took the annual PSAT test, while seniors enjoyed a warm day off. The week culminated with the 31st annual college fair, which featured more than 200 universities from Stanford University to the University of Alabama. There was no school on Friday. However, the CCHS varsity football team did not enjoy a day off from school. Instead. the team defeated Point Loma High School 37-17. The CCHS Options Program gathered Sunday at Liberty Station’s Preble Park for the annual Down Syndrome Awareness Buddy Walk. Indeed, last week was a normal week at CCHS piled high with scholastics, community, and sports.
