Valentina Montenegro-Venero, Staffer
Valentina Montenegro-Venero is a staff writer for El Cid Online and Presidio. She is a San Diego born Venezuelan and Spanish sophomore. Before attending Cathedral Catholic High School, she attended a French-American school for 11 years, so she is fluent in French. She is also fluent in Spanish due to her heritage. This is her first year in journalism at CCHSl, but she was in the Newsletter club at her previous school. She is also in the Surfrider club and was vice-president of L.I.V.E Club, an environmental club, at her last school. She loves reading, watching Netflix, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite time of year is the holidays, she enjoys baking, and is a vegetarian.
