Jackie Heitman

Jackie Heitman, Sports Editor

My name is Jackie Heitman, and I am the Sports Editor for El Cid in the 2015-2016 school year. This is my second year in journalism and I am excited to continue to pursue my love for writing and sports. I enjoy playing beach volleyball, playing the piano, and hanging out with my family and friends. I am apart of the Campus Ministry Service class here at Cathedral and on the junior advisory board of the Mitchell Thorp Foundation, an organization that helps children with undiagnosed illnesses and support their families, both of which I am very passionate about. My hope is to help make this paper the best that it can be and continue the paper next year, my senior year. I cannot wait for this year and what it will bring!
