Gaining his stardom in 2017 from his song “Mr. Clean,” musician and influencer Yung Gravy has been trending the internet lately. Since then his fame has been skyrocketing through his music and appearance on popular social media app, TikTok. Yung Gravy brands himself off of his music and his attraction to older women saying to billboard, “not enough people” were “rapping about moms.”

Sheri Nicole rose to fame through riding the wave of her daughter Addison Rae’s fame. Addison and Sheri gained popularity through TikTok in 2019, and have been growing their brand since then.

Sheri’s family has been the highlight of social media drama recently. Sheri and her now ex-husband Monty Lopez have been going through a public divorce because of Monty’s affairs.

The news of Yung gravy and Sheri first bloomed in a TikTok of Yung Gravy commenting on Sheri Nicole. From that, controversy sparked between Yung gravy and Sheri’s ex Monty Lopez, Monty offered to box Yung gravy but he turned the offer down claiming Monty was “immature and embarrassing his family.”

In the most recent news, Yung Gravy and Sheri Nicole attended the VMAs together. After being photographed together, this new couple has sparked lots of controversy due to their age difference and their willingness to display public affection. Yung Gravy and Sheri Nicole displayed their affection for each during ten time Grammy award winning Nicki Minaj’s VMA’s speech.

This has created a wildfire of drama for the Rae family. Since then, Addison has unfollowed both of her parents on social media but hasn’t said anything publicly. Social media is wondering what the Rae family’s next move will be.
