Hi, I’m Hong-An Phan and I am the Politics & News Editor for El Cid! I love exploring different genres and topics of books, and I hope to share them in this column. My favorite authors are Donna Tartt, Leigh Bardugo, and VE Schwab. This year, I’m writing for Dons Reads to share books to Dons and promote reading more on campus. Check in on the 10th of every month to read my reviews!

I’m Brooke, the CCHS Social Media Editor! I love to read thrillers and historical fiction. My current favorite author is Taylor Jenkins Read. Throughout the school year, I find all my homework and extracurriculars make it more difficult to continue to read. I hope Dons Reads will motivate me to read more and share my love for reading with other students. My reviews will be posted on the 20th each month!

Hey! I’m Sarah Brown, CCHS News Editor for Cathedral’s school news site, El Cid. I tend to gravitate toward books from empowering female authors and poets, as I feel they are the truest representation of my aspirations as a writer. I have been looking to expand the diversity of my reading, one reason that I was compelled to author Dons Reads. I can’t wait to share my newest finds on the 30th of every month!
