El Cid

Sarah Scherer
Hello! My name is Sarah Scherer and I'm a senior here at Cathedral. I'm excited to serve as Managing Editor and Opinions Editor this year on El Cid. I have a passion for journalism and I aspire to be a published author. I completed the Georgia Journalism Academy for Editorial Writing in summer 2015, and I'm thrilled to bring the knowledge I gained there to our school publication. Outside of journalism, I enjoy riding horses and competing in dressage. I'm the CCHS Equestrian team captain and a second-year Ambassador. My favorite things are cooking, writing, yoga and singing in the car. I can't wait to see what senior year has to offer!
