My name is Kara Stevick and I am a senior here at Cathedral. As I absolutely adore reporting, I am aspiring to achieve degrees in both journalism and international relations/business post graduation. Currently, this is my fourth year writing for the paper, now as Opinions editor. After having the wonderful opportunity this past summer to work at the San Diego Union Tribune, I am hoping to utilize my knowledge to both contribute to the paper and to better myself as a journalist. When I am not writing, I also enjoy the beach, hiking, running, traveling, movies, 80's music, and all sports--though track and soccer are my favorite. I am also President and Founder of the World Cultures Club here on campus and produce and anchor for CCTV. Here's to a wonderful year!
