Lauren McKittrick, Assistant News Editor

With a strong passion for writing, I aspire to improve upon my skills as El Cid’s Assistant News Editor this school year. While this opportunity allows me to learn and grow as a journalist, it also publicizes my work on El Cid, where I hope to educate and influence others positively with my stories. Aside from writing, I enjoy vibrantly expressing myself through art, such as painting or drawing. Additionally, I love to spend time with my friends, and I even enjoy working with little kids, who never fail to uplift my spirit and make me smile. Throughout this school year, I desire to use my gifts and talents to challenge myself academically and personally as a writer.
