Katelyn Gueco, Assistant Spiritual Life Editor

As a senior at Cathedral Catholic High School and assistant Spiritual Life Editor for El Cid, I strive to leave a legacy of happiness and fulfillment through the stories I tell. If I am not spending time with the people I love or writing my next story, you can find me on the beach volleyball courts in Encinitas, soaking up the sun and smacking down the ball. I hope to one day travel the world, adding new experiences into my memory bank and checking off items on my bucket list. I firmly believe the future holds many exciting opportunities, and I intend to cherish every moment. As my high school career boils down to a close, I am determined to capture those memories through my passion for writing. Being a part of El Cid during my last year of high school is a welcoming change of pace, and I am excited to see what this experience brings me. Here is to a great senior year and an even better school newspaper!
