Last week at Cathedral Catholic High School was Catholic Schools Week which celebrates the different cultures that exist on our campus and around the world. The days included celebrating cultures of the Chinese, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, African-American, and Pacific Islander students with various events held on each day. The boys varsity basketball team defeated Mission Bay High School on senior night to remain undefeated in league. Matthew Kirven ’20 also received the Distinguished Don award at Mass on Wednesday.
Mr. Jeff Gramme hands Matthew Kirven ‘20 the Distinguished Don award of January 2020. Kirven was nominated for his exemplary service in his service club that supports Nazareth Orphanage in Tijuana and the videos he made to raise awareness about human trafficking.
