Sports at Cathedral Catholic High School last week had many exciting moments. The number one nationally-ranked girls volleyball team defeated Scripps Ranch High School 3-0, the girls field hockey beat La Jolla Country Day School 2-0, the boys sand volleyball won matches against Westview High School and Scripps Ranch High School, the varsity football defeated Madison High School 41-0, and the varsity girls golf team lost to Point Loma High School 239-248. CCHS hosted the college fair Tuesday, when approximately 160 colleges sent representatives to the Claver Center for students to interact with. In the chapel garden, Best Buddies held a matching mixer during lunch, and campus ministry hosted a XLT/campus ministry night after school to celebrate adoration, benediction, and praise and worship with Father Richard Castro and Father Paul de Soza.
