Halloween is tomorrow, and many students may struggle finding a costume for school that adheres to the dress code guidelines.

With Halloween tomorrow and Cathedral Catholic High School’s dress code guidelines, it may be difficult to find a last-minute costume to wear. There are many simple, last-minute, and CCHS approved costumes to wear to school.

Dressing up at CCHS has been an ongoing tradition since the beginning of Cathedral Catholic High School in 2005.

“The costumes and the different activities that happen around campus definitely help the Visual and Performing Arts Department, or any department really, build a stronger relationship with each other,” visual and performing arts teacher Miss Katie Wilson said.

VSCO girl:

If you are looking for a costume that will take you five minutes to put together, this one’s for you. Grab your nearest oversized T-shirt, some jeans, and a Hydro Flask water bottle. Make sure to also find some scrunchies on your way out the door, and throw your hair up into a quick messy bun.

Cowboy/girl:

Find a buddy and partner up to be a cowboy. Grab your nearest pair of boots and rhinestone jeans. Complete the look with a cowboy hat and a colorful flannel.

Robin and Steve from Stranger Things

If you want to channel your inner 80s self, this one’s for you. Match with one of your best pals wearing a striped shirt and red scarf. You can even wear your CCHS approved navy Bermuda shorts or pants.

Greaser/Pink Ladies:

If you want to throw it back to the times of milkshakes and leather jackets, look no further. Keeping it classic with a white t-shirt and a leather jacket for the guys and a black shirt with a pink jacket for the girls, these timeless costumes are always show stoppers.

Sleepwalker:

If you are looking for something that requires no effort and all you have to do is roll out of bed in the morning, this one’s for you. Throw on your comfiest pajamas or sweats with a sweatshirt the night before Halloween. You can wake up in your clothes the next morning, brush your teeth, grab some breakfast, and be out the door in 15 minutes.
