Over the past four years, many couples have started dating and then broken up. However, through all the years, through all the acne, and all the fights, only a select few couples have been able to stay together. These couples have been together for a long time, and in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, El Cid thought we would showcase them and their love.

Giulia Ferrara and Michael Guarena: together since freshmen year. “My best memory of us when he said he loved me when we were studying for a biology final.” -Giulia Ferrara

Jamie Clapp and Jack Herrick: together since sophomore year. “My favorite thing about Jamie is her personality.  She is very funny and there is never a dull moment when I am with her.” -Jake Herrick

Rebecca Love and Jackson Mucollugh: together since this year. “My favorite thing about Jackson is his positive, friendly personality and how he makes everyone around him happy.” -Rebecca Love

Colleen Grainger and Alfredo Aragon: together since sophomore year. “My favorite thing about him is his sense of humor. He always has the ability to make me laugh and brighten my day” – Colleen Grainger

Riley Marshall and Jonathan Pendergast: together since junior year. “My favorite memory we have shared together is this past summer all the fun things we did together, one of them being snorkeling together at La Jolla Cove, it was my first time and it was so much fun!” -Riley Marshall

Natalie Klinge and Drew Cowell: together since freshmen year. “I would say my favorite thing about him is how much fun I have when we’re together. I’m always laughing and smiling and having a great time. When I’m with him, I worry less and appreciate life more.” – Natalie Klinge

Athena Angle and Brody Hoffman: together since sophomore year. “I like Brody because he makes me laugh and he makes me feel special.” -Athena Angle

Nicole Lobo and David Sakara: together since junior year. “I love his intellectual curiosity and how adventurous he is, and how he always knows how to make me smile!” -Nicole Lobo
