Hi! My name is Brooklynn Kiil, and this is my first year in Journalism. I am a sophomore here at Cathedral Catholic. I joined journalism because I enjoy writing. I am super excited to tackle and write about global issues and conflicts—essentially, world news. I am a competitive soccer player for the San Diego Surf ECNL girls’ team. I enjoy traveling and going to the beach. I love to experience new things like cultures and foods. I am looking forward to growing my writing skills in this class and learning about the different writing styles of being a journalist.
