The Dons tremendous year is still not over as they will continue their march into the  California state tournament.

The brackets for the state tournaments were released on Sunday and the Dons drew the fourth seed for division 3 Southern bracket. The position gives the Dons home-court advantage for their first round game against the Palm Desert Aztecs.

The Aztecs currently hold an overall record of 23-6 with a loss coming in their last game against Arroyo Grande in the semi-finals of the Southern section division 3AAA tournament.

The game will be played in the Cathedral gym on Wednesday March 7th – the tipoff is scheduled for 7 PM. The winner will advance to the second round and will face the victor of the matchup between Oak Park and Grant.
