Bits & Bytes of Tech: Introduction
September 18, 2015
Dear Reader,
I first started taking an interest in technology when I was in 5th grade after my parents gifted me my first computer. Since then, I have been inseparable from my computer and all of the other technological gadgetry that I own. I now know everything there is to know about my iPhone, iPad and computer and I have even learned to code in Java. In addition, I have taken introductory online courses for Java Script, Python and HTML.
Given my previous involvement, it makes sense that I would start a technology column in El Cid. This opportunity will allow me to combine some of my many hobbies, including photography, writing and technology, into one super-hobby called Bits and Bytes of Tech.
Now, I come to you, my assumed readers. If you are reading this column, then hopefully you love technology as much as I do. What can you tech-lovers expect of this column? You can look forward to a mix of articles pertaining to new and cutting-edge technology being produced by the brightest minds of the world. These entrepreneurial start-ups and established empires make history every day. I am writing to inform you, but also to comment on these events.
Being that technology is the largest growing industry in the United States and, for the most part, the world, there will always be something to talk about. I look forward to writing about all of the different aspects involved in the broad category that is “technology.”
