As a sophomore at Cathedral Catholic High School, I look forward to blossoming as a young journalist and becoming a new member of the El Cid team. I consider reading and writing as two of my greatest passions as a student, and I aspire to diligently exceed to my full potential as a developing writer alongside my peers. Publishing my stories, in addition to informing the CCHS community on current events in an engaging and inspiring way, takes a primary place among my priorities this year. Outside of school, my favorite activities include dancing, watching football, playing with my cats, listening to music, and traveling. Whether on the beach or over a delicious meal, spending quality time with my family and friends ranks as one of my deepest joys. Ultimately, this year I aspire to educate others through my work as a journalist, shaping my positive thumbprint on the CCHS community.
