As a sophomore at Cathedral Catholic High School and the El Cid Features Editor, I look forward to experiencing and sharing this year’s events. During my first year as a journalism student, I am eager to learn from and meet people with unique perspectives. Discovering writing techniques through journalism class and practicing leadership will improve my editing abilities and form me into a more well-rounded student. My passions outside of school include playing beach volleyball for SDbeach and hanging out with my friends. Listening to music, one of my greatest loves and a significant part of my life, helps me to focus and escape. I also enjoy traveling to Los Angeles and attending concerts. This upcoming year I hope to create compelling stories to contribute to the CCHS community.
