Beautiful lengths for breast cancer

In light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Cathedral Catholic High School community will partner at the homecoming rally next Friday with Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a program dedicated to supporting women undergoing cancer treatment by providing wigs made from hair donations.

“We give girls the opportunity to contribute to the amazing cause as a community since the cutting and sending of the hair process is already taken care of by Pantene,” ASB president and leader of the CCHS Beautiful Lengths event Lauren Munro ‘19 said.

In order to participate, girls must be willing to cut off eight inches of their hair. Students can sign up by filling out a google form sent out in an email from Munro.

“We want to beat our record of 20 last year,” Munro said. “We’ll be happy with all of the donations we can get, as they’re going to such a great cause.”
