Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines stress as “a state of mental tension and worry caused by problems in your life, work, etc,” and it is no stranger to high school students across the country. The teenage experience ranks as the most transformational time in young people’s lives, highlighted by increasing academic and social demands.

According to the American Psychological Association, addressing stress is crucial for high school students since unresolved issues can persist well into adulthood, increasing the chance of developing mental illnesses. As a result, Cathedral Catholic High School students and faculty are devising ways to manage stress and anxiety.
