On Wednesday, January 19th, The White House announced that President Joe Biden will deploy 400 million N95 masks. They will be provided at no cost around the country.

N95 masks have been proven to have the highest protection against COVID-19.

Due to the omicron variant, coronavirus is spreading more rapidly than ever, these masks will help stop the spread. 

These masks will be limited at 3 per person, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be given a mask. 

These masks are expected to begin shipment this week, and the masks will be accessible by early February.

In order to attain a mask, people can visit any community health center, as well as some chain pharmacies like CVS and Walmart.
