For the Dons, basketball games, sophomore retreats, and course registration for the next school year filled last week. The boys varsity basketball team (17-8) (7-2) defeated Mission Bay High School 66-55, and it now is gearing up for the stretch run of Western League competition. Sophomores embarked on a retreat to St. Rita’s School, where they helped underprivileged children during the school day. Course registration is underway for freshman, sophomores and juniors, allowing students to choose their preferred classes for the 2019-2020 school year. California Scholarship Federation (CSF) applications were due on Friday, as the program’s goal is to recognize the academic standout CCHS students.
With ASB Winter Formal only a week away, asking season is officially underway. After Friday’s boys varsity basketball game, team captain AJ Maisano ‘19 asked Clarissa Casciano ‘19 to be his date.
