High school is often seen as the stepping stone for futures. It is a place to earn grades, take tests, and prepare for what’s next. But, at Cathedral, it is so much more than that. It’s a community where students don’t just learn as an individual, they grow. Through challenging academics, deep-rooted faith, and a strong sense of purpose, Cathedral transforms the high school experience into something lasting. Here, lessons extend beyond the classroom, friendships turn into lifelong bonds, and values become the foundation for the future.
Education isn’t limited to memorizing facts or passing exams, it’s about shaping curious, confident, and capable minds. Teachers challenge students to think critically, ask bold questions, and apply what they learn in real-world ways.
Tyler Campbell ‘25 shared, “The impact of high school that impacted me the most was when Ms. Cairns, my sophomore year English teacher, encouraged me to pursue writing as a major.” This kind of encouragement helps students see beyond the classroom and believe in their potential.
Whether it’s through hard coursework, group projects, or one-on-one mentoring, high school but specifically Cathedral creates an environment where every student is encouraged to discover their strengths and push beyond their limit.
Faith is at the core of the Cathedral experience. Through regular masses, retreats, faith classes, and service opportunities, students are encouraged to explore and deepen their relationship with God. But it isn’t just about practicing religion, it’s about learning to live with purpose, compassion, and integrity. Cathedral empowers students to carry their faith into everyday life, shaping who they are and how they lead beyond high school.
Highly-involved senior Ari Greco ‘25 reflected on how involvement in extracurriculars and meaningful relationships shaped who they are today. “Getting involved in things like clubs, student leadership, and being an ambassador taught me so much about who I am. I’m really grateful for those opportunities.”
The impact of Cathedral doesn’t end at graduation. The values, knowledge, and confidence students gain here stay with them as they step into college, careers, and the wider world. Whether it’s through leadership opportunities, community involvement or the encouragement to pursue big goals, high school equips students to move forward with both ambition and purpose. They leave not only with strong academic foundations, but with a deeper sense of who they are and who they are called to become.
High school at Cathedral helped students not just to get through life but to truly find themselves. “It might sound cliche,” senior Bella Aguilera ‘25 said,“but I leaned on myself the most. You learn how to love yourself and not get lost in what others think. That’s the kind of growth that stays with you forever.”
CCHS is more than just a place where students spend four years of their life, it’s a school that shaped who they become. Through a balance of academic toughness, spiritual growth, and meaningful relationships, students are prepared not only for what’s next, but for a lifetime of learning, leading, and living with purpose. The lessons learned in the classrooms, on retreats, and in everyday moments leave an impact long after graduation, proving that Cathedral isn’t just a school, it’s a foundation for the future.
