HOC: “Dancing literally saved my life…”
February 22, 2016
“Dancing literally saved my life. When my dad died and my mom got diagnosed with cancer, I hated God. I hated myself for not going to my dad’s funeral, and I didn’t know what to do. During this time dancing was my outlet. I walked into the studio and forgot everything. It’s kind of weird to say that I hated God, and then seeing how close I am now with my faith. Dancing made me forget all the pain and brought me so much happiness. I want my legacy at Cathedral to be optimistic and youthful. I want to be remembered as the person who’s always dancing and brightening everyone’s day.”
