The Lady Dons varsity volleyball team is on a roll! The girls are still ranked #1 nationally and are still undefeated, they have yet to even drop a set.

The team travels to Omaha, Nebraska as they have been invited to play in the GEICO Girls Volleyball Invitational. A two day, four-team tournament that brings together four high school volleyball programs from four different states: Cathedral Catholic High School (California), Skyview High School (Idaho), Ponte Vedra High School (Florida), and the host school; Papillion La Vista South High School (Nebraska).

The team opens up the tournament against Ponte Vedra High School out of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Sharks won the 6A state title in 2017, 2019 and 2020. This team also features key players like senior MB Zeta Washington (Cincinnati commit), senior S Jessica Shattles (New Hampshire commit), senior OH Ava-Grace Redick (College of Charleston commit), and junior MB Chelsea Sutton (Tennessee commit).

But will those players, along with the rest of the Ponte Vedra roster, be enough to keep up with the deep, notable 19-girl roster from Cathedral Catholic? Make sure to tune in on ESPN+ Friday, October 7th, at 5:30pm PST.
