The Cathedral Catholic High School Robotics team, Team 5025 or Pacific Steel, competed Saturday in its postseason tournament Battle at the Border, which was hosted at CCHS and featured 36 other teams.

The single-day competition aimed to allow competitors to have fun, talk with other teams, and replay last season’s game, since the game changes each season, according to robotics team member Christine Walsh ‘20.

Pacific Steel played seven matches against 17 different teams and advanced to the quarter-finals to rank nine out of 36.

“The best part of the competition was getting to spend the whole day with my team,” Walsh said. “I couldn’t image robotics without such an incredible, supportive, and passionate group of people.”
