Calling all cheerleaders! Tryouts for the 2023-2024 season are right around the corner- May 15th, 16th, and 17th. If you are interested in trying out, please join the Info Meeting on Zoom on May 8th. The registration link is available on the @cchsdonscheer instagram page! 

The Dons cheerleaders perform on the sideline and at halftime during football season in the fall and basketball season in the winter! To prepare, there are summer practices a few weeks in July leading up to USA Camp in August! These practices are run by our stellar coaches: Coach Carlson, Coach Kendall, and Coach Ashley!

Being a cheerleader is a great way to meet friends and get involved in the school, showing your school spirit and supporting our amazing athletes and community-representing the school in a professional manner.

Camp is a super fun opportunity for the team to form friendships and learn new skills with their stunt groups and routines to carry into the season. From dances, cheers, and stunts, to FNL routines and band chants!

Candidates can expect to learn a dance, multiple chants, and a jump sequence during the first two days of tryouts that they will perform on the last day in a small group. To get ready, work on your showmanship and perfecting your skills!
