NLI Early Signing Day at Cathedral Catholic. Class of 2023 signees included the following sports: volleyball, soccer, crew, waterpolo, baseball, lacrosse, track and field, and field hockey.

On Wednesday, November 9th, Cathedral Catholic hosted the NLI Early Signing Day. 20 senior athletes who attend Cathedral officially signed a binding National Letter of Intent for their collegiate sport and future school.

Our Directors of Athletes, Noah Stevens and Tyler Anthony, hosted the event for the students athletes and their families. Boys athletic director, Noah Stevens, says, “Even before joining the CCHS community in July, I was aware of the longstanding tradition of excellence in athletics. That being said, I was blown away not just by the number of signees but by the quality of universities and colleges our student athletes were committing to. It is truly a blessing to be a part of such an incredible athletics department here at Cathedral Catholic High School.”

Mia Compas, Davidson College volleyball signee, came to the early signing day alongside her mom, dad, uncle, and grandparents. Mia said, “I was very excited during signing day. It was nice to see that all my hard work paid off. But it made me even more happy to see that I made my family proud.”

Those who attended the event had nothing but good things to say. They said it was paced well, the set up was good, and there were yummy breakfast burritos. Now… here is the list of all the Dons who have officially signed to play their sport at the collegiate level!
