The Cathedral Catholic varsity girls field hockey team is prepared for the season with good chemistry and growing passion.
“My teammates are always challenging me to do my best,” CCHS player Riley Cox ‘23 said. “I’m looking forward to improving my skills and speed.”
The Lady Dons leadership correctly steers CCHS in the right direction.
“I also love playing with the older girls because they bring out the best in me,” Cox said. “Our captains Sara, Angelina, and Caylee always get the team excited to play.”
CCHS shares the common goal of going far in the playoffs.
“Our main goal is to do well in CIF this year,” captain Angelina Hicks ‘20. “We’re making unity a primary concern to help build our program stronger for the years to come.”
The team placed third in the Valley Center tournament this past weekend.
With a pretty young team including two freshmen, three sophomores, 10 juniors and three seniors, the Dons are hopeful for a fantastic season with their sights set high.
