Girls water polo
The Cathedral Catholic High School varsity girls water polo team may have a good amount of underclassmen, but the newcomers look forward to learning from many seasoned seniors.
“To become a stronger team we have to work and play hard,” CCHS player Lizzie Roberts ‘19 said. “We need to be able to bond with each other because there are many rising players on our team.”
The squad’s goals of strong chemistry and competing in the San Diego Section CIF Championship will work hand and hand, as both require hard work and daily practices.
“Learning each individual’s play and working together will help us be the best team we can be,” Roberts said. “Hopefully we will end up in the CIF Championship.”
The Lady Dons show promise for the upcoming year with its well-rounded team.
