Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day
Today marks the occasion where full-blooded Irish and the Irish spirit alike come together to celebrate all the enjoyable aspects of Irish culture, such as attending Catholic Mass, wearing green, and enjoying Irish delicacies. Better known as St. Patrick’s Day, this holiday reminds families of the importance of coming together to celebrate the bonds they share and to remember to have some fun,
“I’m proud to be Irish,” Cathedral Catholic High School student Clare Hannon ‘20 said. “[St. Patrick’s] is a day to celebrate my heritage and enjoy all the Americanized aspects, as well. It is a way to remember all the sacrifices my great-great-grandparents made to give their children a better life.”
