Girls golf team bonds together as a family

Girls golf team bonds together as a family

This year, Cathedral Catholic’s girls golf team truly bonded as a team throughout their season. “I felt like this season, our team developed and grew closer,” said junior and team member Julez Itchon.

This special bond was attributed to senior and member of the girls golf team, Cristina Savaglio. “She really brings the team together,” said Julez. Cristina plans on playing golf in college as well. “She was our best player, and she always had a positive attitude,” said Julez.

Another important contributor to the girls golf team’s success is their head coach Mr. Chris Grazier. “He teaches us the fundamentals of the game, and he has a really tight bond with the team,” said Julez.

Julez has aspirations to improve her skills during next year’s season. “I hope to be shooting in the low 40s and high 30s,” she said.

It is clear that the girls golf team has a strong bond. As Julez said,”We all see each other as a family.”
