On Halloween 1985 University High School released its newest monthly issue. Writers featured articles about foreign exchange students, freshman class officers, spirit week, and a Halloween poem by a student named Jacquie Sant. In addition to a variety of other neat things, El Cid, Uni and now Cathedral Catholic’s high school newspaper, set the stage by introducing to the student community exactly who El Cid was. This issue reports two new foreign exchange students who attended Uni for a year, a student who studies in England, a play and book review, a teacher feature, and additional sporting updates on basketball and volleyball.
