On February 5, 1970, El Cid returned from a break and had gained more writers than the original three who had been writing during first semester. In this top-of-the-paper story they discuss the creation of a new Journalism class that would bring several new writers into the newspaper. Also, the article discusses a column about “Car of the Week.” And in the sports section the football and basketball teams continue to carry Dons spirit as they do today. Lastly, the article features Mr. Dave Gorsich talking about his ninth year of teaching.
