Cathedral Catholic High School’s dance team will host its annual winter concert Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the Guadalupe Center. The theme of “A Very Merry Christmas” sets the stage for a festive mood this coming holiday season.

“We are so pumped for this year’s concert,” head coach Mrs. Niki Lucia said. “It’s our first year with two really strong varsity and junior varsity teams, and I’m so proud of how hard these girls have worked the last couple months.”

The CCHS dance team spent the last two months auditioning, teaching, and learning choreography to everyone’s holiday favorites. Along with Christmas dances, they will perform at sports games, rallies, and completions.

“We have 32 people on the team between JV and varsity, which makes it one of Cathedral Catholic’s biggest dance teams yet,” assistant head coach Mrs. Alexa Huey said. “The girls have dedicated so much to this concert, hoping to make it the best one so far.

“It will be a show to remember.”
