Cathedral Catholic has some entrepreneurs in the making. Seniors Nick Edwards Johnson, Josh Muir, and Ben Webster are designers and have their very own clothing line. Entö, the name of their company, launched and was trademarked on January 1, 2013. These three friends are interested in the same hobbies, so they describe Entö as, “skate/surf clothing company inspired by the unique street culture of Southern California.”

These boys always dreamed of creating a unique expression of their imaginations through creating new graphic ideas inspired by the outcast street culture of SoCal; therefore, they created Entö. Nick, the creator of the Entö brand symbol, came up with the idea while sitting in an English class freshmen year. Nick states that soon after that he came up with the drawing, “I inquired with my friends who share my interests of extreme sports, and we have been adding on ever since then.” They have gathered many customers through these initial years, but hope to go bigger.

These boys plan to go far with their company, and they released a collaborative statement that “The sky is the limit. I think we have the potential to achieve lofty goals as long as we keep our nose to the grindstone,” said Nick. “One of our biggest philosophies is to always stay loyal to humble roots and turn to the streets for inspiration in order to stay connected to the times.”

Entö has partnered with The Snykes, a popular band among Cathedral students that is made up entirely of Dons. (Read more about them here!) Pat Collins, lead guitarist of The Snykes, is friends with Nick, Josh, and Ben, which helped initiate the collaboration.
