Festivities this week focused on Dons Day and the Holy Bowl. Prospective eighth grade students from San Diego Catholic elementary schools attended Dons Day, an annual event hosted by Cathedral Catholic’s ASB, Admissions Department, and Ambassadors for Christ Corps. During this fun-filled day of introduction, ambassadors led their school groups on individualized tours of the campus, familiarizing them with a teacher’s class and answering all of their questions.

Our exciting Holy Bowl weekend kicked off with an Alarm Clock Rally Friday morning, when CCHS students showcased their school spirit. KUSI News filmed the rally side-by-side with a similar rally at Saint Augustine High School. Cathedral won the noise meter challenge, demonstrating its confidence in the football team for the game that evening. Finally, the Holy Bowl came Friday night. The crowd was roaring with spirit as the game kicked off. Sadly, after a few interceptions by Saints, Cathedral fell behind on the scoreboard and ended the game with a loss of 21-35.
