Cathedral Catholic High School security guard Robert McKeon and his family remember his grandson Liam Webb this month on the second anniversary of his passing.

“It’s tough, but my daughter never [felt sorry for herself},” McKeon said. “she started the charity as though she has melanoma cancer herself.”

Liam Webb was diagnosed with a brain tumor and passed on Nov. 23, 2013. Since his passing, Carli Webb, McKeon’s daughter, founded the Linked with Liam Foundation to help other children and families whose lives have also been impacted by cancer. The foundation helps provide financial aid, toys and more.

If students are interested in supporting or donating to the Linked with Liam Foundation, they can do so by visiting LinkedWithLiam.org.

“Something needs to be done,” Carli Webb said. “This monster needs to be fought.”
